What are Maintenance Kits?

Printer Maintenance Kits contain parts that should be replaced when your laser printer reaches its maintenance interval or when print is not correct or even when paper jams start occurring. This can be caused by worn rollers, separation pads or fusers. Kit replacement maintains high print quality and lengthens the life of your laser printer. These Kits are not currently available for inkjet printers.


Why do you need a Maintenance Kit?

A laser printer maintenance kit is not a requirement. However, using a maintenance kit at regular intervals helps to eliminate repeat service calls. It will also maintain high print quality and lengthens the life of your laser printer.


How often should you use a Maintenance Kit?

The parts included in these maintenance kits have varying estimated service lives, depending on the model. These estimates may vary depending on things like user maintenance, printer application, operating environment and the print media that is used. Any printer servicing should include inspection of the parts included with your maintenance kit.
